Tell The Speed Of A Computer Graphics Card

Computer gaming has gone through many transformations and changes over the past decade. With the richness and intensity of graphics in today's gaming world, being able to tell the speed of your computer graphics card is important. A fast graphics card with a considerable amount of RAM will make a big difference in game play and in overall computer performance. The speed of a graphics card is determined by the amount of RAM on the card. Windows 7 provides many details about the installed graphics card in the "Display Properties" section of the Control Panel.


Instructions


1. Click the Windows "Start" orb, and then click the "Control Panel" link.


2. Click the "Appearance and Personalization" icon, and then click "Personalization."


3. Click the "Display Settings" option.


4. Click the "Advanced Settings" button, and then click the "Adapter" tab. On this tab, you will find the graphics card brand, model number, RAM installed, speed and additional details about the card.
