What Is Ddr2 1366+

DDR2 1366+ is computer RAM.


DDR2 1366+ is a type of RAM, or random access memory, used in computers. In order to use DDR2 1366+ RAM, your motherboard must support it. RAM comes on a small circuit board "stick," and is available at most computer electronics retailers.


What Does DDR2 1366 Mean?


DDR2 is a faster type of RAM.


DDR2 stand for Double Data Rate 2, a faster form of computer memory. 1366 means the RAM operates at 1366 megahertz (MHz).


How Do I Know If My Motherboard Supports DDR2 1366+?


Your motherboard specifications will tell you what kind of RAM to use.


Check the specifications for your motherboard. It will list DDR2-1366+ if the motherboard supports this type of RAM. If the specifications do not say the motherboard supports DDR2-1366+, don't use it. Trying to do so may damage your computer.


If you don't have the specifications for your motherboard on hand, try Googling the motherboard model name along with the word "specifications."


Install DDR2-1366+ RAM


Installing RAM is fairly simple. Open your computer case, and look for the RAM slots. On each end of the slots there is a clip. Gently push each clip to the side, away from the RAM, until the end of the RAM pops up. To install the RAM, gently push the end of the RAM into the slot until the clip pops up, then push the clip toward the RAM until it clicks into place.
