Update M810lr Bios

The M810lr is a type of motherboard that was widely used on computer such as Dell, Compaq and Acer. This type of motherboard has a lack of support on its serial RAID. This is a serious issue for companies that need to know their data is totally secure. Updating the BIOS for the M10lr is a good way to fix these issues.


Instructions


1. Navigate to the PC CHIPS website (see References) to download the upgrade. This is the company that manufactures the M810lr BIOS motherboard.


2. Click on the link for your BIOS. If you do not know what it is, choose AMI Download.


3. Unzip the file for the M810LR and save it on your hard drive


4. Find the installer and double-click it. Click "OK" when prompted. This will cause the flash utility to open.


5. Click "Flash" and this will enable your BIOS to flash. Only do this after completely reading the warning and instructions. Make sure you wait for the process to totally complete or you could render your system inoperable. The BIOS must be flashed properly to avoid this.


6. Reboot your system and you are done.
