Update An Hp Thinclient To The Newest Version

Update your Thinclient with the Windows Update software.

The HP Thinclient is a computer that doesn't have a native operating system on its hard drive. The Thinclient runs off of a network server and uses the server as it's operating system. If you want to update your Thinclient computer to the newest software version, you can update the system by logging into the computer as an administrator. The Windows Update feature will update the necessary drivers and software needed to run off of the Thinclient's RAM and motherboard. This software will also update any graphics or USB support needed.

Instructions

1. Log in to the Thinclient computer as an administrator.

2. Click the "Start" button and then click on the "All Programs" option.

3. Click the "Windows Update" icon from the menu.

4. Click the "Check for updates" button on the left side of the menu.

5. Click the "Install Updates" button at the bottom of the software screen.

6. Wait for the updates to complete.

7. Restart the system.
